HIGH SCHOOL RUNNING PROGRAM

Students in grades 1-5 are invited to participate in a 1-mile fun run on the Boston Public School track at White Stadium. Registered students will be assigned to a heat based on grade, and we will run 4-8 heats depending on the number of registered runners. Students will rotate through fitness stations (Yoga, Stretching, Fitness Test) with their heat members before and after running.

The BRR Youth Initiative's High School Program is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students of all fitness levels can discover the mental and physical benefits of running. Our non-competitive program offers a 10-12 week running session in the spring or fall, culminating in a running event, to help students set and achieve their personal goals.

 

Our mission is to instill a love of the sport and promote healthy habits in all students, regardless of their running experience. We aim to empower students to lead healthy, active, and fulfilling lives by fostering a community that values physical activity and well-being.
