Boston Road Runners supports young women by providing a safe and welcoming environment that promotes a positive mindset, boosts confidence, and enhances overall wellness through running.
The program incorporates physical education, social-emotional learning, and mentoring to improve the well-being of young women in Boston Public Schools.
Our non-competitive program is open to young women of all fitness levels, from active athletes seeking to build stamina and endurance to those just starting to become more active.
Our coach-mentors work closely with students to set and achieve walking and running goals during a 10-12 week running session, which concludes with a special running event to celebrate the individual and group achievements of the students.
